The Caius Great Escape! Choose the destination of the Caius Holiday!

As promised in my manifesto I would like to organise a 4night/5 day holiday for Caians for September 2010. Before dates and accommodation can be sorted I need you guys to choose the destination! PRAGUE, BARCELONA or BERLIN? YOU DECIDE! All of these destinations can be reached pretty cheaply from most air ports using budget airlines and should all be massively fun as they offer loads of culture along with an amazing night life!

To give you a better idea what the three different cities offer:

About Prague

Prague is an enchanting mix of the old and the new. On one side you've got the Stare Mesto (Old Town), home to one of the best preserved old towns in Europe, while on the other side you have the Nove Mesto (New Town) where fast food outlets and high street shops abound every corner.

Since the fall of the Iron Curtain ten years ago the Czech capital has enjoyed a new lease of life as thousands of tourists flock to it every year. Many come to take advantage of how cheap it is in relation to other European cities, although it isn't as inexpensive as it once was. Still, search hard enough and there are endless bargains to be found, particularly in terms of eating out and socialising.

About Barcelona

Thanks to the work of one Antoni Gaudi, Barcelona is home to some of the most unique buildings in the world. There is so much to see and do you won't know where to start. There aren't many livelier places than Barcelona either, with a very young population who party into the wee hours of the morning.

While all this is around the city centre, there are innumerable places to retreat to when the hustle and bustle begins to get too much for you. So even though many people have this notion that three days is enough in any city, a week wouldn't be enough here. Barcelona is also by the sea!

About Berlin

Seldom missed by those travelling to Germany, and frequently returned to by those who have been there before, Berlin is one of Europe's electric, historical and sprawling cities. It suits those who want to soak up culture and others who want to party until the early night.
