The Master invites ... Jennette Arnold

The first of this term’s talks at the Master’s Lodge will take place on
Monday, 6 February, at 8.30 p.m.  The speaker is Jennette Arnold, Chair of the
London Assembly.  Her theme will be “Poverty, Aspiration and Leadership, the
challenges facing London in 2012”.

Sporting Grants - Hawks' Charitable Trust

The Hawks' Charitable Trust wishes to award grants to students who are pursuing sporting excellence and are in financial need. The deadline for applications is 29th February 2012.

A powercut in the town centre has caused a Caius Internet blackout. Other colleges are experiencing similar problems.

Caius Women's Badminton have had a great Michaelmas term, winning 5 out of 6 matches so far. With 1 more match to go this term, we are looking towards being promoted into Division 1 next term!

Are you a good listener? Become a Peer2Peer Supporter

Peer2Peer is a welfare scheme in Cambridge University that trains students in order for them to support their peers in a meaningful and responsible way. Peer2Peer supporters do not give advice or seek out problems, rather they respond to requests for help and empower the person they are supporting to come to their own decisions. The training teaches the supporter the communication skills required to do this, amongst other things.
