The College Nurse, Natasha Kear, runs a ‘drop-in' clinic each weekday during full term, with reduced clinic hours out of term. The Health Centre is located in U staircase (U3), Tree Court. The College Nurse can assist with a wide range of health and welfare related needs ranging from help and advice with minor illnesses or injuries to confidential support for all manner of worries and personal or emotional issues. If circumstances require more specialised help or treatment, the College Nurse can help to refer you or point you in the right direction whether via your GP, the University Counselling Service or other local service. If you need to see a GP you can make an appointment by telephone or in person at the relevant practice. If you are unsure if you need to see a GP, or have difficulty making an appointment, see the College Nurse who will advise and assist where possible. For minor illnesses and injuries, your GP surgery will often ask you to see your College Nurse in the first instance.
